Beginner vs. Advanced Training
Beginners will start with fundamentals, including wrestling basics, ring awareness, and match structure. Progression to advanced status is determined by trainer evaluation.
Advanced trainees must provide proof of prior experience as an active professional wrestler (especially if coming from outside Tulsa).
Training Focus Areas
TPWA offers comprehensive training in multiple aspects of professional wrestling, including:
βοΈ Wrestlers β Learn in-ring techniques, storytelling, and character development.
βοΈ Referees β Master the rules, timing, and communication skills required for officiating.
βοΈ Managers β Develop on-screen presence, promo skills, and ringside interaction.
βοΈ Ring Announcers β Enhance your microphone skills and engage live audiences.
βοΈ Commentators β Learn how to call matches and bring excitement to live events.
Training Expectations

Respect all trainers and trainees. Wrestling is a team effort.

No egos, no bullying, no unsafe practices. Violators will be subject to disciplinary action.

Attendance at WFC events is mandatory for all students.

All fees must be paid on time. No exceptions.

Safety & Health Regulations
π TPWA is NOT responsible for injuries. Students must obtain their own personal insurance before training.
π No "stiffing" or "sandbagging" (deliberately striking too hard or making moves difficult for a partner).
π Appropriate wrestling gear is required:
Indoor wrestling shoes
Knee pads
Loose training clothes
π First Aid is available on-site for minor injuries.
Code of Conduct
β Bullying, harassment, or intentional harm to others is strictly prohibited.
β Sexual harassment will result in immediate investigation and potential expulsion.
β A three-strike system is in placeβany disruptive behavior may lead to removal.
π Respect the Academy, trainers, and fellow students. Wrestling is about teamwork.
ποΈ Match & Event Participation
βοΈ Graduates of TPWA will have the opportunity to participate in a Student Showcaseβan event designed to introduce trainees to live audience performances.
βοΈ All students must attend WFC wrestling events to learn about match structure, event production, and behind-the-scenes responsibilities.
βοΈ Top-performing students may be given opportunities to participate in WFC storylines and live events.
